An installation by world-renowned artist Luke Jerram depicting the Earth.

The goal

To mark the International Day of Happiness and Earth Day by presenting shopping-centre visitors with an installation by a world-famous artist, inspired by globally relevant themes.

The solution

Luke Jerram’s installation “GAIA”, which has travelled across many countries, was presented in Lithuania for the first time. Based on NASA astronaut photography and precisely replicating the image of the Earth, the artwork let visitors see our planet as if they were floating in space. It was accompanied by a sound composition created specially by BAFTA-winning composer Dan Jones. The piece attracted wide media attention and drew more than 130,000 visitors over one month.
